Cameron Highlands Nightlife

What to Do at Night in Cameron Highlands

Cameron Highlands isn’t a hotspot with spectacularly bright lights and wild nightlife action but it’s got a wholesome family-friendly vibe. Most people come here to enjoy its myriad of daytime activities, namely hiking and camping, which means that come sundown, when pubs and clubs usually open, people are too tired to frequent them.

So in a nutshell, the Highlands – Malaysia’s most extensive hill station – may not feature a great deal of after-hours activities, but it’s got its own brand of night time fun. Once the sun goes down you’ll see the numerous restaurants scattered across its landscape packed to the tee with diners, as most people enjoy the mountain-top getaway’s cool climate while savouring a meal and nursing a pint – be sure to try the local brew when you’re in town.

Tanah Rata is the place to head to if you’re really in the mood for a pub; try visiting the Traveller’s Bistro & Pub or the Jungle Bar & Restaurant Cameron Highlands.
