Set approximately 15 minutes away from the main city centre, but still within the city limits, Bangsar is best known as Kuala Lumpur’s international village. This suburb of Kuala Lumpur caters to pockets of varying cultural and social echelons. Popular for its urban nightlife, it’s not as rowdy as KL but while the city centre sees more of a tourist and local Chinese crowd, Bangsar’s the haunt of expats, upscale yuppies, and KL’s well-to-do and college students.
