Where and What to Eat in Changkat Bukit Bintang

Changkat Bukit Bintang

A popular KL nightlife spot, Changkat Bukit Bintang is one of the trendiest avenues in the Golden Triangle area. An avenue on which a large number of KL’s most popular bars and restaurants can be found, it is located just behind Jalan Bukit Bintang. Jalan Alor – another famous KL city avenue, well known for its hawker stalls and Chinese seafood restaurants – is just a short walk away.

Changkat Bukit Bintang is very easy to get to – particularly if you are staying in the Bukit Bintang area. The buildings are unique because they used to be pre-war, colonial shop-houses that were refurbished and turned into upmarket pubs and restaurants. The perfect place for pub-crawling, it can get very busy here, especially during the weekends and public holidays. (Read More...)

Feeka Coffee Roasters

Feeka Coffee Roasters is a cool café situated beside the No Black Tie jazz club. It serves hearty breakfasts, homemade desserts, not to mention quality and aromatic coffee in Jalan Mesui, Changkat Bukit Bintang. Adopting a minimalistic concept, the spacious cafe is beautifully decorated with mismatched furnishings, small potted plants, hanging light bulbs and wooden elements. Highly recommended is the award-winning El Salvador (RM18), one of Feeka’s AeroPressed specialty coffee brews. Marvellously rich with a pleasantly lingering aftertaste, it’s a great drink to kick-start the day ahead. Perfect for weekend brunches, the Feeka omelette (RM16) is a tantalising combination of sautéed mushroom with herbs, sautéed cauliflower, tomato jam, and wild cheddar that complements the cheese-filled omelette very well.
