Eating and shopping are Malaysia’s main passions. Kuala Lumpur itself has thousands of restaurants serving every possible type of food, plus shopping mall after shopping mall offering the world’s top brands.
New shopping malls seem to open up almost every month and the Golden Triangle is the city’s retail mecca with the most concentration of major retail complexes like Suria KLCC and Pavilion KL. Here, you will find European brands like MNG, Topshop and Zara, upmarket labels like Coach, D&G and Michael Kors, and even Asian names such as G2000, U2 and Uniqlo.
