  • 5 Things To Do In 1 Utama

Entertainment in the world’s fourth largest mall

1 Utama is a palatial, expansive and epic mall that is home to over 650 high-end brands and regional indie labels. Even if you are not into shopping, the world’s fourth-largest shopping mall is sure to keep you entertained.

Besides the retail outlets, the complex is home to a 30,000sqft rooftop garden (the largest in Southeast Asia), plus two karaoke centres, a spaceship-themed kids’ play land, a 36-lane bowling alley and two movie houses. Other unique offerings include a book exchange (in front of British India) – called the Book Crossing Zone – where you can swap old books for anything on their shelves. There is no shortage of stuff to do here, so check out our five favourite picks – trust us, you won't be disappointed!

The cages are also suitable for softballers, cricketers and generally anyone wishing to have some fun whacking a couple of balls around. There are a few ways to get to the rooftop, but we suggest taking the lift near Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in the New Wing to the rooftop as it puts you closest to It’s a Hit.
