Brewyard Coffee is a quaint home-grown cafe that serves up an array of sweet and savoury brunch offerings such as pastas, pizzas, waffles, and pancakes, homemade cakes, as well as unique coffees and teas in a charming garden-like setting. Situated within Subang Jaya’s vibrant SS15 (Section 15) commercial hub, this quaint and fully air-conditioned establishment makes for an ideal escape from KL’s scorching heat and busy traffic.
Taking inspiration from the tranquil European countryside, this rustic café features cement flooring and bricked walls with miniature potted plants, wooden tables and steel chairs, warm filament light bulbs, and suspended chalkboard signage adorning the interior. Its spacious interior can comfortably accommodate up to 60 people at a time, and there are smoking areas available as well.

Open for brunch and dinner, Brewyard Coffee’s ever-evolving menu keeps things relatively interesting for KL’s adventurous brunch lovers with a number of staple offerings that have earned the cafe a steady following since its inception in 2014.
One of Brewyard Coffee’s crowd favourites is the Little Lost Ship (RM16), a delectable ensemble of stacked pancakes with banana slices, peanut butter, jam, chocolate sauce, peanut brittles, and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. While we prefer this sinfully sweet dish for dessert, it’s a delightfully filing brunch option for late risers with a sweet tooth.

Meanwhile, the B3 Pasta (RM18) is one of its more savoury dishes, consisting of spaghetti with homemade pesto sauce, topped with generous amounts of beef bacon, parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs. Best of all, prices are quite affordable with portions that are substantial for diners with a healthy appetite.
True to its name, Brewyard Coffee is known for its excellent coffee that complements the cafe’s homemade and locally-sourced cakes. A great pick-me-up is the salted Nutella latte (RM13), a caffeine-loaded concoction with double shots of espresso as well as subtle hints of hazelnut and chocolate, while chocolate lovers will delight in the mocha and Oreo cookies combo that is Mocreo (RM15).
Affordable and casual, Brewyard Coffee is a popular hangout spot amongst suburban KL’s coffee drinkers and brunch lovers. To get to Brewyard Coffee from Kuala Lumpur City Centre, take the KTM train to the Subang Jaya stop and it is a 15-minute taxi ride away.
