Situated along Kuala Lumpur’s Desa Sri Hartamas stretch, Riblee’s is a longstanding restaurant and bar that’s well-frequented for its crowd-pleasing appetizers and tantalizing porcine dishes. Open for lunch and dinner, Riblee’s occupies a spacious corner lot on the first floor of Wisma CKL (above Al-Rajhi Bank) with warm lighting, cushioned booths, oaken furnishings, retro decor, and a breeze-filled al fresco dining section. Riblee’s delivers a casual yet overall classy ambiance, perfect for dining with the family, after-work gatherings, as well as intimate get-together over a glass of fine wine.
Riblee’s serves up a wide array of western-oriented fare such as soups, salads, pastas, meaty steaks as well as nachos and quesadillas, though its charbroiled pork ribs (RM78.80 for full rack and RM39.80 for half) and pork chops (RM39.90) are Riblee’s well-loved specialties.

We start off by indulging in a healthy serving of wild mushroom soup (RM10.60) topped with toast. Riblee’s is pretty generous when it comes to portions and the soup is delightfully rich and creamy, with plenty of sliced mushrooms and onions as well as a touch of rice wine for added flavour. Next, their crispy roast pork salad (RM26.80) tossed with balsamic vinaigrette olive oil dressing comes with plenty of melt-in-your-mouth pork bits – a recommended choice for health-conscious diners, this is not!
For mains, we start off with a full rack of Riblee’s signature Bourbon Triple Glazed Babyback Ribs served with a side of curly fries, cinnamon apples and corn-on-the-cob. With a portion that can be shared among three people, the ribs are exceptionally tender and full of meaty goodness. Best of all, the bourbon-glazed meat has just the right amount of zest without being too overwhelmingly sweet.

Last but not least, a definite must-try in Riblee’s is the Bombay Black Pepper Babyback Ribs which come with a side of French fries, salad, corn-on-the-cob, and deep fried onion rings. While we prefer a stronger kick when it comes to the Bombay onion and black pepper sauce, this dish is great for diners with a low tolerance for spice. The ribs, however, are excellent, with fall-off-the-bone tenderness and hearty meatiness.
For dessert, we are served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream with chocolate fudge, topped with chopped peanuts, cream, and cherry (RM10.80), which makes for a satisfying finale to a pork-filled gastronomic experience. For drinks, Riblee’s serves the usual list of coffee, tea, and fresh juices as well as a selection of wines and imported beers.
While parking spaces are available within walking distances from Riblee’s, Desa Sri Hartamas is well-known for being very crowded during public holidays and weekends so make sure to head there early if you are travelling by car.
