SeniKome Péng Hēng East Coast Arts & Cultural Centre Highlights
It mainly focuses on arts, customs and traditions from Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan, where you can find displays of authentic paintings and materials such as keris (Malay dagger), wayang kulit (shadow play), quail traps, and traditional Malay clothing. There’s also an exhibition of indigenous tribes residing in these regions, as well as an interactive room where visitors can participate in traditional games such as congkak, batu Seremban, and hopscotch.
If you’re feeling peckish, SeniKome Péng Hēng East Coast Arts & Cultural Centre also has an onsite restaurant that serves authentic dishes from these regions, such as nasi kerabu (herb rice salad), nasi dagang (trader’s rice), and keropok lekor (fish crackers) as well as drinks made with asam boi (preserved plum), mint leaves, lemongrass, honey, and pandan leaves.
Set on Level 3 of First World Plaza Genting, SeniKome Péng Hēng East Coast Arts & Cultural Centre is open between 08:30 and 17:30 every day. Tickets are priced at RM8 for Malaysian adults and RM6 for children below 12 years old, while tourists are charged RM10 and 8, respectively.
