The Spa at Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Luxurious Beauty Treatments in KL City Centre

The Spa at Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur offers a wide range of holistic treatments that help revitalise your fatigued mind and body. Guests can enjoy traditional Malay body massages, foot reflexology, facials, body scrubs and wraps with all-natural spices and essential oil blends after a hectic day of exploring Kuala Lumpur.

Fitted with wooden furnishings and minimal décor, we feel immediately relaxed upon arrival thanks to the subdued scent of aromatherapy oils and soft instrumental music playing in the background. Situated on Level 2, The Spa is adjacent to The Health Club, a 24-hour fitness centre that also houses Jacuzzis, saunas and steam rooms.

We are then served with aromatic ginger tea and, after a short consultation with the spa’s highly experienced therapist, we decided to indulge in the Aroma Bliss (RM340) massage session. The air-conditioned treatment room is simple and kept cosy with dim lighting and is equipped with a spacious massage bed, sink, mirror, and wardrobe for our belongings. Meanwhile, the therapist adjusts the room temperature and music volume according to our preferences, making us feel completely comfortable prior to the session.

Using a consistent blend of relaxing and deep massage strokes, starting from the feet and moving to the neck, we can feel all the tension and knots in our body gradually dissipating as our therapist applies just the right amount of pressure and natural oils without causing any discomfort. Coupled with the soothing ambience, it’s hard not to feel completely rejuvenated by the end of this 90-minute-long massage session.

For a complete head-to-toe spa experience, we highly recommend the Renewal Experience (RM820), which starts with a body detoxifying Marine Algae Wrap, followed by the Aroma Bliss massage. Lastly, the treatment ends with the Rejuvenating Facial, which helps to bring out a youthful glow in your complexion.

Needless to say, The Spa at Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a great place to rejuvenate both mind and body, thanks to its team of friendly and professional staff, as well as a satisfying selection of facial and body treatments conducted in a relaxing and unpretentious setting.
